Francesco Cocchini
1585–1650 · Merchant
Francesco Cocchini was born in Florence in 1585 to Giovanni Cocchini and Margherita di Rossi. He was a merchant and wool trader, remembered in family tradition as a trusted supplier to the Medici household. He married Lucia Bianchi in 1610 and they had five children. His life is reconstructed here from family tradition rather than from surviving record, and every date on this page should be read as demonstration content awaiting archival proof.
